Drummond, Yasmin

I am a self-taught artist with a passion for experimenting with colours and blending abstract and figurative elements.  I blend layers of dense colours and forms on canvas.  While i have created and collected art in various styles throughout my life it was not until 2013 that I became engrossed in abstract expressionism while living in Fiji where I met and collaborated with Fijian artists.

Born in Germany, I am a British artist of Middle Eastern origin, currently based in London. I have been fortunate to have lived in 14 diverse, beautiful and fascinating countries over three decades.

The adventure and wonder of life and people who have come across my path are the inspiration behind my paintings, with references to climate change, migrations and diversity.
