About the Artist
Highly influenced by Minimalism and Arte Povera, Belenguer was one of the two performers invited by Leah Capaldi to perform ‘Hung’ at the Serpentine Gallery. Tate Liverpool as part of the Keywords project. ‘No Soul for Sale’ at the Tate Modern. This year, Belenguer has exhibited alongside the 56th Venice Biennale.
This series of drawings based on fashion adverts. Within this series he finds and focuses on the individual within those fashion adverts. These drawings were selected for a group show at the Tate Modern in May 2010. Limited Edition of 25. A4 signed and numbered. Printed on top quality Hahnemuhle paper. Giclée Printing technique used so the colours don’t fade away.
