“My love for art has pushed me to dedicate myself to painting full time. As a designer I’m very much driven to the image as a stand alone entity. Bold and strong images that make a statement by them selves and let the viewers fell and create their own relations with each piece.”

He was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where he lives now. He earned a Graphic Design BFA at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, and also a MA in Communications Design at the Swinburrne University of Technology in Melbourne, Australia. After working a few years in Branding, he decided to dedicate my whole time only to his art work. What interests in art is the study of the image as its own entity, wether in painting, photography or silkscreen, etc. Different from other forms of art, such as sculpture, music, and cinema, in the image, the viewer experiences the whole of the artwork at once. In sculpture, the viewer has to walk around the space to experience it, wether in the image the space is collapsed into 2 dimensions, giving the viewer a projection of the space from the point of view of the artists “mind’s eye”.
