It’s spring time, sun is shining  and flowers are bloming! Chloe Liu, artist of week, has her own personal point of view about flowers and Nature!

She is a young artist, born in Hong Kong in 1990 and moved in UK since 2004. She studied BA Fine Art at Wimbledon College of Art and graduated in 2014. She took part in exhibitions, such as the SCOPE Raw London in 2014, the Parallax Art Fair in 2015 and the Exhibit Here’s Summer Exhibition, always in 2015.

Chloe explores the idea of Life and Death in Nature. She aims to capture the exact moment when flowers bloom and decay, as she says “Although, no matter how beautiful a flower is, sooner or later, it will always dry out”.

Sometimes she uses a dark colour for the background to highlight the end of life as a reminder: “every living thing has to face that moment”, she says.
